Ph.D. Position (Starting September/October 2026)
A fully funded Ph.D. position is available at Bretagne INP / ENIB within the Institut de Recherche Dupuy de Lôme (IRDL) under the supervision of Moussa Labbadi and Emmanuel Delaleau. The research focuses on the development of safe and robust learning-based control and estimation methods for large-scale dynamical systems, with applications to soft robotics. The objective is to design data-efficient control and estimation algorithms that can learn complex dynamic tasks from a limited number of experiments while providing guarantees on safety, stability, and robustness in the presence of uncertainties. Candidates with a strong background in control systems, robotics, machine learning, applied mathematics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
